Eyebrow Kits & Vegan Perfume | April Favorites 2015

I haven't done a favorites post in almost a year (what!?) and I thought my blog was overdue for another one. These favorites aren't exactly exclusive to April, but I've still been obsessed with them as of recently, so I'm calling them April favorites. Now, to the list!

Milani Eyebrow Kit
I purchased this eyebrow kit about 2 months ago but didn't start actively using it until recently. Milani's products are really inexpensive and they have a large selection of vegan products (yay!). This eyebrow kit is seriously perfect for my brows. (this product is vegan and cruelty free)

Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Perfume
Vegan perfume is something very hard to come by. Pacifica has a large selection of perfumes that are all 100% vegan and cruelty free. I can't begin to explain how excited I was to try out their perfume selection. I ended up buying a bottle of their Indian Coconut Nectar fragrance and I'm obsessed with it.

H&M Brown Ankle Boots
I instantly fell in love with these boots when I saw them online. I knew it was meant to be when I saw they had my size (I'm a size 5/5.5 in US and it's really hard to find shoes that small). They were only $35 and I absolutely love them.

Little Women
This obviously isn't a new, fresh off the printer book that no one has heard of yet (unless you actually haven't heard of Little Women, then what?). My Grandmom had recommended this book to me for years, and I finally got around to reading it throughout the past month and I think I may be in love with Louisa May Alcott's writing. Her books were written in the late 19th century, but they're still so relate-able, Little Women in particular. I can't recommend this book enough to anyone out there who hasn't read the classic.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
I am absolutely in love with this Netflix show. I love everything Tina Fey does, so when I found out she created/wrote a show staring Ellie Kemper, I was hooked before even watching. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but this show is at the top of my must-watch list at the moment.

And those are my favorite things from the past few months!

Vegan Clear Skin Trio

I've had a love/hate relationship with my skin since the beginning of time (or puberty, whichever one seems more dramatic). Nothing really ever worked to relieve my face from the occasional zit. After a while, I sort of gave up trying and succumbed to puberty for years.
Now, at the age of 20, you'd think clear skin would come with the territory of finally exiting my horrid teenage years. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I still get the occasional spot, however, I have managed to keep my skin very clear most of the time. I'd like to give all the credit to three outstanding vegan/cruelty free products, but some other factors may take part in my clear skin.

Possible Factors:
Vegan Diet
Drinking lots of water
Washing my face daily
Lack of stress

Aside from those factors, these three products have done wonders for my skin since I purchased them about 6 months ago. Now to the trio.

My Clear Skin Formula:

Pacifica Sea Foam Complete Face Wash ($11)
Washing my makeup off my face at the end of each night is essential in my daily skincare routine. This Pacifica Face Wash doubles as a makeup remover which is perfect. My skin started to feel and look cleaner after the first wash. This face wash hasn't disappointed me since. I can't recommend it enough.

Just the Goods Acne Prone Skin Moisturizer ($8)
After I shower and before I apply makeup, I have to apply moisturizer. I've been using this Acne Prone Skin Moisturizer by Just the Goods for a while now and I can say, with 100% certainty, that this product is everything. I'm all for products that helps clear and prevent acne.

The Fanciful Fox Spot Check Blemish Stick ($5)
Like what I said before, the occasional zit does pop up from time to time, and when that happens, I'm armed with my Spot Check by the Fanciful Fox. This little stick does wonders. After applying it to a pimple, it's completely gone within two days. No other product that I've ever used worked as well as this stick.

And that's all! 100% vegan and cruelty free clear skin trio that actually works, all under $25 dollars!! How exciting?!

Spring To-Do List

Spring is in the air and I can't help but feel uncharacteristically ambitious. I made a list of all the things I'd like to do this spring, and if it's written in a blog post, that means I have to do it.

1. Grow a Vegetable Garden
I've been wanting to grow a vegetable garden for a good 3 years now. It has to happen this year.

2. Go Outside More
I need vitamin D.

3. Take an Exercise Class
I want to take an exercise class that can double as a self defense class.

4. Volunteer at the Animal Shelter
I've been thinking a lot about what I want to do with my life and I've been thinking about caring for animals. There's an animal shelter literally two minutes away from my house. The only thing stopping me is the social interactions with humans.

BECAUSE I STILL HAVEN'T FED AN APPLE TO A HORSE and this will be on my to-do list until it happens but I have to find a horse first and it's not that easy. This will happen though.

6. Worry Less
I don't see this objective being achieved in the near or even distant future, but it's something I'd like to see change in myself, so I'll try to tick this one off the list (prime example of myself being uncharacteristically ambitious)

7. Blog More
I tend to put this blog on the back burner far too often and I have no idea why. I really like writing, so I should do it more.

I've been going on my other social media sites more often so be sure to follow me there, if you'd like.
